[Molecularmechanics] Request for comments

While I am content with the technical discussions we have had on this list 
since its beginning, we should not forget that the purpose of those 
discussions is not only to come up with good file formats, but also to reach 
a consensus on using them. Until now, most list participants, including most 
of the authors of programs represented here, did not comment at all, 
therefore I am a bit worried that we might be missing the second goal.

I would thus like to encourage everyone on this list to comment on the 
proposals that have been made. I realize that some of you might not want or 
be able to read and understand everything in detail, but even then it would 
be of use to know what you think of the general direction we are taking. And 
even without reading anything proposed so far, you can say what features you 
consider essential in a file format, and which ones you consider desirable.
